2008 saw BFGoodrich take on a new challenge in association with Kronos Racing: the BFGoodrich Drivers Team.
This operation took the form of an entry for a local driver in a Peugeot 207 S2000-BFGoodrich:
- The BFGoodrich Drivers Team programme featured 5 rounds (Portugal, Belgium, Czech Republic, Spain and Italy)
- M. Campos (finished 8th overall in Portugal)
- P. Snijers (finished 5th overall in Belgium)
- P. Valouzek (finished 4th overall in the Czech Republic)
- S. Vallejo (finished 7th overall in Spain)
- A. Torlasco (finished 10th overall on the Rallye Sanremo in Italy)

DAKAR SERIES: 2 wins from 2 events (with VW and Mitsubishi)
- Following the cancellation of the 2008 Dakar for safety reasons, ASO launched the Dakar Series which featured two events:
- The Central Europe Rally (Romania/Hungary)
- The PAX Rally (Portugal)
- Central Europe Rally: 1st, Carlos Sainz (Volkswagen-BFGoodrich)
- PAX Rally: 1st, Stéphane Peterhansel (Mitsubishi-BFGoodrich)

- The favourites (Mitsubishi, Volkswagen, Schlesser Ford and BMW X-Raid) were all BFGoodrich partners. They did not contest every round, however, and rarely competed on the same events.
- Dominique Housieaux and his Schlesser buggy won the Rallye de Tunisie (Tunisia)
- Luc Alphand won the Rali Transiberico with Mitsubishi (Portugal/Spain)
- Volkswagen's Giniel De Villiers won the Rally Sertoes in Brazil
- The UAE Desert Challenge was won by Nasser Al Attiya driving a BMW
- BFGoodrich won the FIA Cross-Country Rally World Cup for the 11th time
BAJAS, RALLY-RAIDS
- FIA INTERNATIONAL CUP FOR CROSS-COUNTRY BAJAS: Title for Nasser Al Attiya (BMW-BFGoodrich).
- BAJAS AND AMERICAN SCORE SERIES: Victory on the Baja 500 and BFGoodrich's 22nd victory on the Baja 1000. BFGoodrich's record exceeds 200 individual event wins.
